Komodo & Flores Island

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Komodo National Park and Flores Island tour packages offered by the tour operator. By booking a tour, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

Booking Confirmation

  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the tour operator.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.

  • Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal, passport, and contact information during the booking process.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required depending on the selected package and booking conditions.

  • Prices are subject to change until a reservation has been confirmed.

  • Unless specifically stated, personal expenses, optional activities, travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, and certain entrance or conservation fees are not included.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation fees may apply based on the notice period provided before departure.

  • No refunds may be available for no-shows, unused services, or last-minute cancellations.

  • Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the payment provider's procedures and timelines.

Itinerary Changes

  • The operator reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel any part of the itinerary due to weather conditions, sea conditions, road conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, or operational requirements.

  • Alternative arrangements may be provided when reasonably possible.

  • No compensation or refund will be provided for itinerary changes made in the interest of safety or regulatory compliance.

Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must follow the instructions of guides, drivers, crew members, and local authorities at all times.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for tour activities, including hiking, trekking, snorkeling, boating, and other outdoor activities.

  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour.

  • Any damage caused by a guest to vehicles, boats, accommodation facilities, equipment, or other property may result in additional charges.

Health & Safety

  • Guests should inform the operator of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or special needs before the tour begins.

  • Participation in tour activities is at the guest’s own risk.

  • The operator may refuse participation in certain activities if safety concerns arise.

Limitation of Liability

  • The tour operator shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, missed transportation connections, personal injury, loss or theft of belongings, weather disruptions, or events beyond its reasonable control.

  • The operator acts only as an intermediary for services provided by third-party suppliers, including transportation providers, accommodations, and attractions.

  • Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, and cancellation is strongly recommended.

Force Majeure

  • Tours may be postponed, modified, or canceled due to circumstances beyond the operator’s control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil disturbances, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

  • Any available refund, credit, or rescheduling option will be provided in accordance with the operator's applicable policy.

Komodo National Park Regulations

  • Visitors must comply with all regulations established by the Komodo National Park Authority.

  • Wildlife, including Komodo dragons and other protected species, must not be disturbed, fed, or approached except under authorized supervision.

  • Guests must follow ranger instructions and remain within designated visitor areas.

  • Additional conservation, entrance, ranger, or visitor fees may apply and are subject to change without notice.

Flores Island Travel Conditions

  • Travel times within Flores Island may vary due to road conditions, weather, traffic, and local circumstances.

  • Certain attractions, villages, viewpoints, or cultural sites may be unavailable without prior notice due to local events, maintenance, or government regulations.

  • The operator will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives whenever possible.

Governing Terms

  • For bookings made through online travel agencies such as Expedia, the cancellation policy, inclusions, exclusions, and booking conditions displayed during the reservation process shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy with these Terms & Conditions.
